Live Stream is a web project which collapses digital and hydrological streaming in an infinite loop in order to explore our perceptions about digital and physical resources.

Are either — or both — of these streams finite? Are they permanent? What is required to maintain them? Are their boundaries or limits related to each other? How do they each relate to a larger watershed?

Video recordings were made over the course of summer 2023 in Sitka, Alaska. The tangible manifestation of this stream is a tributary of what’s known in English as “Indian River,” but the Lingit people are the original residents of Sheet’ka Kwaan and they named this river Kaasda Heen.
